EVE Power signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Jingmen Municipal People's Government, C&D Inc., and Jingmen GEM to jointly build a new energy power storage battery supply chain platform

On June 19th, EVE Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "EVE Power") and Jingmen Municipal People's Government, Xiamen C&D Inc. (hereinafter referred to as " C&D Inc."), Jingmen GEM Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jingmen GEM") signed the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement on New Energy Power Storage Battery Supply Chain" at the headquarters of C&D Group.

Hu Yabo, Party Secretary of Jingmen Municipal Committee, Liu Kexiong, Member of Standing Committee of Municipal Committee and Secretary-General of Municipal Committee, Zhou Junjie, Deputy Mayor of Jingmen City, Party Secretary of Work Committee of Jingmen High-tech Zone, and Party Secretary of Duodao District Committee; Huang Wenzhou, Party Secretary of Committee and Chairman of C&D Group, Zheng Yongda, Deputy Party Secretary of Committee and General Manager of C&D Group, and Chairman of C&D Inc.; Xu Kaihua, Chairman of Jingmen GEM, and Zhou Hongyan, President of EVE Power, attended the signing ceremony.

According to the agreement, Jingmen Municipal People's Government, C&D Inc., EVE Power, and Jingmen GEM will jointly build a modern new energy power storage battery supply chain platform basing in Jingmen, radiating to Hubei Province, affecting China, and linking the world, to provide upstream and downstream customers in the industry chain with the integrated and customized supply chain services to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

C&D Inc is a core member company of C&D Group. In 2023, C&D Group's operating income exceeded 840 billion yuan, its asset scale exceeded 880 billion yuan, and has been listed in the Fortune Global 500 for 7 consecutive years. It has built a global supply chain service system that can integrate the resources needed in the operation process, plan the supply chain operation solutions and provide professional, one-stop operation services for customers. Jingmen GEM is a wholly-owned subsidiary of GEM Co., Ltd. GEM comprehensively focuses on the development of new energy business of ternary precursors, cobalt tetroxide and power battery recycling, and is an advanced enterprise representative that practices green and low-carbon development. GEM signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the Directional Recycling of 10,000 Tons of Recycled Nickel with EVE Energy in 2021, which has laid a solid foundation for cooperation.

Established in 2012, EVE Power is a subsidiary of EVE Energy that boasts core technologies in cell development and system integration, providing products and solutions encompassing cells, modules, BMS, and their systems that are widely used in new energy passenger vehicles, new energy commercial vehicles, new energy construction machinery, energy storage, and electric marine markets. EVE Power has formed a whole industry chain layout of "Nickel, Cobalt, Lithium mine-Battery material-Battery production-Battery recycling-Battery remake".

Regarding this cooperation, Zhou Hongyan, President of EVE Power, declared that under the leadership of Jingmen Municipal People’s Government, the three parties will carry out the strategic cooperation based on the principles of mutual benefit, mutual promotion and common development, with the goal to build a modern new energy power storage battery supply chain platform basing in Jingmen, radiating to Hubei Province, affecting China, and linking the world.
