Experts from the Heat Meter Working Committee of China Metrology Association visit EVE!

From November 28th to 29th, the third member meeting of the third session of the Heat Meter Working Committee of the China Metrology Association was grandly held in Guangzhou. Today, Jin Zhijun, General Secretary of the Heat Meter Working Committee of the China Metrology Association, led a team of more than 40 members from various member units, expert group members, local metrology agencies, heat companies, and heat meter related companies to visit EVE’s headquarter in Huizhou and conducted in-depth exchanges with Chairman Dr. Liu Jincheng, President Liu Jianhua and other leaders.


The China Metrology Association is a national-level industry association, a branch of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, composing of the country's major heat meter manufacturing enterprises and related institutions, and metrological technical institutions. It has an important influence.



Experts and leaders of the working committee visited EVE’ s "Lithium Battery World" exhibition hall and the automated production line, fully affirmed EVE’s highly intelligent, automated production level and high standard production environment management.

At the exchange meeting, Dr. Liu warmly welcomed the arrival of the Heat Meter Working Committee, and shared that EVE has a mature metering power supply solution with high reliability characteristics. EVE has been working to support the upgrading of national smart metering and intelligent transportation through lithium battery technology innovation. Metering is the basic business of EVE. EVE will continue to advance its technology research and development to continuously improve the overall performance of primary lithium batteries. In addition, in the field of lithium-ion batteries, billions of bean cells with innovative patented technology have been supplied in bulk to internationally renowned mobile phone brands, and high-quality power batteries have also entered the supply chain systems of international car companies such as Daimler. EVE always adheres to driving high-quality development with technological innovation, and at the same time high-quality development guarantees the sustainability of technological innovation.

Later, Professor Yuan Zhongzhi, Vice President and CTO of EVE, shared the theme report on "High-reliability Power Supply Solutions for Smart Metering Applications". Based on the analysis of the current “long life, high reliability, wide temperature, high pulse and low cost” requirements of the smart meters, a general comparison of the power supply solutions applied in different communication modes was made. Combining the characteristics of ER batteries and the analysis of actual application cases, Professor Yuan proposed an innovative ER + SPC composite power solution to use in IoT meters. It has advantages of long battery life and high pulse output. Professor Yuan also gave suggestions and basis for selecting a power supply scheme in the design of the meter, and pointed out that "Double 85" is an effective method to quickly test the battery life and its reliability. With the rapid development of smart meters, higher requirements have been placed on the high reliability of the power supply. In this regard, EVE can provide long-life power solutions that fully meet the requirements of smart meters. The report won high affirmation and attention from the experts and leaders present. At the same time, experts from various committees and Professor Yuan had a lively discussion on the issues of long life and test schemes of primary lithium battery used in the meters.

With the continuous development of heating reform, heat meters are widely used and play an increasingly important role in heat metering. The special working environment and water quality conditions have set higher requirements for the quality of heat meters, especially their durability.
